For its last weekend of operations, the Charlevoix's Le Massif is presenting a full line-up of free activities. The seaside ski area's exceptional snow coverage, mild spring weather and meltdown prices are here for all to enjoy. From April 10 to 13, skiers and riders are invited to the big Splash plus the season's last Show-z-après-ski performance spotlighting The SuperSonic Maniacs, then on Sunday to an Easter Brunch and Fuzzy Stuffy Easter Hunt, and the grand finale of the Le Massif Photo Contest.

Le Massif's 2009-10 season pass is now on sale at the 2008-09 prices - with up to 33% off the regular rate - with exclusive privileges for new passholders, who ski free until Monday April 13. Those who prefer a quick few days of spring skiing get 50% off their next visit to the ski area between Sunday and Friday, until April 13, 2009.
King of the Hill: Dig Out Your Fancy Retro Outerwear & Make a big Splash!
Saturday April 11, every slide fan sporting those colourful jackets, pants or infamous one-piece suits that take you straight back to the 80s is crowned king of the hill and receives 30% off the regular lift ticket rate. From 1:30pm to 2:30pm, everyone is invited to get wet at the mountain's very first Splash, as entrants attempt to slide across a pool of water set up at the junction of La Desjardins and La Bouchard. Spectators can appreciate the show from the top of Camp-Boule Express Lift, or from the springtime outdoor area cleverly equipped with a BBQ and guest DJ, setting the mood for the event.

At 4pm, the party continues at the Summit Pub as The Supersonic Maniacs overtake the stage with covers of today's top 40s dipped in pure acoustics. From Lady Gaga to Metallica - not to forget Britney Spears and Rod Steward - this high-octane trio from Québec City is known for its originality and uncanny knack for energizing the crowd, creating a great party platform for today's tunes with fresh new takes!
Easter Brunch & Fuzzy Stuffy Easter Hunt for Kids & Parents!
Sunday April 12, the young and the young at heart are invited to Mer & Mont Restaurant to savour Chef Bessone's celebrated Easter Brunch before hitting the trails for the Fuzzy Stuffy Easter Hunt, and visiting the furry gang at the Petting Zoo. The activity ends with participants each receiving a surprise making them eligible to win a huge chocolate Easter confection. Registration for the stuffed animal hunt is free while reservations are required for brunch - simply call Le Massif's Guest Services.
Grand Finale of Photography Contest - My Objective: Le Massif.
From April 10 to 12, the public is invited to vote for their favourite snapshot by visiting the exhibit featuring the contest's 20 finalists. Winners are to be announced Sunday April 12 at 1pm, when a jury made up of professional photographers reveals the top 3 technical and creative photographs. Winners of the Jury's Pic? and the Public's Pic - each wins a Ski & Stay Package for 2 valued at about $400.
15 cm of Fresh Snow & Over 1 Metre on the Trails for All to Enjoy!
With 597 cm recorded this season on its precipitations chart, Le Massif offers excellent slide conditions for this, its last weekend of operations, with snow coverage varying between 1 and 2 metres over the totality of its skiable domain.
