About the mountain
| Pin Rouge Mountain Resort
My Gaspésie!
Want to experience a mountain with a difference? No crowds, challenging runs and the welcoming ambiance of the Gaspé?
The Challenge
A mountain that challenges and inspires, where champions are born!
Pin Rouge, the highest mountain in Eastern Quebec and the Maritimes with 450 meters of vertical drop is home to World Junior Champion, Francois Bourque. Pin Rouge is where he conquered his very first runs and continues to ski today. 24 runs await you, including the 3500 meters of our beginner run. But you will especially revel in the challenge of our champion’s favorites, the “Mur” and the ‘Couloir”
Nestled in splendor – entwined with the Petite Cascapedia River and embraced by the Baie des Chaleurs – the mountain serves up a medley of high intermediate and expert runs. Relish in the thrill of conquering the mountain!
Snow!
The latest technology in snowmaking (2006) covers 60% of the terrain and our team of experts is constantly working to guarantee well-maintained runs.
A cozy alpine village and new events:
• 22 new quality chalets (available December 2007) at the base of the mountain starting at $70.00 a night.
• Cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, tube slides, walking trails, skating rink, snow-mobiling and scenic lookout.
• A newly renovated main lodge: bar and entertainment, cafeteria, boutique, ski school, rental shop
• Are you new to our mountain? Join one of our Gaspésian guides for a tour of the mountain and its spectacular runs. We love company!
My Gaspésie!
A warm, relaxed and uncomplicated atmosphere where the welcome of the Gaspésians sets the tone for the experience that awaits you.
New Richmond a far away place? That all depends on you!
On your way? We can’t wait to see you!
