An introductory package for downhill skiing (Iniski) or snowboarding (Inisurf) which includes a group lesson, equipment rental and a lift ticket. These packages provide the opportunity to discover or rediscover skiing and snowboarding at a bargain price. Nowdays, thanks to the latest gear like shaped skis, it's easier than ever to learn to ski. Why don't you ask your friends to join you? After all, the more the merrier! These programs, designed by the Canadian Ski Council in conjunction with the Quebec Ski Areas Association (ASSQ) and the National Snow Industries Association, are offered at many ski areas in Quebec. Mont Avila We dare you! At Mont Avila, the table is set for those that wish to spice up their winter! Extreme skiers and snowboarders will get the chance to taste the most complete menu in the Laurentians: rails that will blow you away, majestuous jumps, an Olympic size half-pipe and more. Mont Avila is known as being the resort offering the biggest and the most spectacular snowpark in Quebec. It is, without a doubt, the perfect place to get an adrenalin rush! This winter, MSSI introduces the “park pass”. Sold at the price of 10$ (pay it once throughout the whole season), only the ones that have it in hand will be granted access to the park. For safety reasons, it will be much more controlled next season. Again this year, Mont Avila’s snowpark will be affiliated with prime athletes that will help in the playground’s development. As it was the case during winter 2003-2004, our Pro-Riders team, accompanied by an engineer specialized in the conception of snowparks, will build hits that will follow the market’s trend. The staircase used for the Empire Shakedown event will be included with the park’s other hits, rails and jumps. Tube sliding Mont Avila also offers a tube sliding park designed for the whole family to enjoy. 17 slides are available, 2 of them are for snow rafting and the park has 3 chairlifts.
