Nowdays, thanks to the latest gear like shaped skis, it's easier than ever to learn to ski. Why don't you ask your friends to join you? After all, the more the merrier! These programs, designed by the Canadian Ski Council in conjunction with the Quebec Ski Areas Association (ASSQ) and the National Snow Industries Association, are offered at many ski areas in Quebec. Located only 30 minutes away from Ottawa, this family resort will make you feel like going outside to play in the snow. You will find on this mountain many trails adapted to all levels of ability and a tubing park that will please children as well as adults. Edelweiss owns more than 150 acres of skiable terrain and is equipped with one of the industry’s most performing snow making system. It’s also the number one resort in the Outaouais region for night skiing. Six evenings out of seven, the resort is illuminated for the pleasure of skiers and snowboarders. More than 1,5 million dollars will be invested at Edelweiss before the beginning of winter 2004-2005: - Installation of the longest quad lift in the lower Outaouais region - Construction of a 4500-foot long beginners trail - Installation of 90,000 watts of lighting on the new trail - Addition of 400 000 square feet of additional snowmaking - Modifications to our tube park that will offer a faster more enjoyable environment At Edelweiss, you will find a welcoming team waiting for you.
