About the mountain
Where Winter is Right at your Doorstep
Located a mere five minutes from the city centre of Jonquière, the Mont-Fortin ski area provides a splendid view of the region. The entire area plus the majestic Saguenay River can be seen from the summit. Mont-Fortin boasts 11 illuminated runs, all of varying levels of difficulty, making it perfect for the entire family. Mont-Fortin also offers tubing everyone can enjoy, young or old. The area’s snowmaking system provides for exceptional trail conditions and ensures consistent snow quality. In addition to offering the lowest lift ticket price in the region, Mont-Fortin gives skiers, snowboarders, or telemark skiers the opportunity to ski at various centres throughout the region, thanks to the interchangeable lift ticket arrangement. Five chairlifts service the 92-metre ski hill. Mont Fortin has a daylodge, a ski school, qualified ski patrol, retail, rental and repair shops and food service. Mont-Fortin — where the winter is right at your doorstep.
